lzIsOp

The lzIsOp function determines whether or not the named Elzed operator exists. All Elzed operators, whether internal or external, can be processed by this function.

bool lzIsOp(
   char cScope,   // the scope of the operator
   const char* szVariableName   // the name of the operator
);

Parameters

cScope
   A character code indicating the scope of the desired operator. The character code must be one of the following values:

Code
Constant
Meaning
'C'
kCosmicScope
Available in all contexts
'G'
kGlobalScope
Available in current context only
'A'
kAnyScope
Either cosmic or global


szVariableName
   A null-terminated character string containing the name of the desired operator.

Return Value

   Returns TRUE if the requested operator exists in the indicated scope, FALSE otherwise.

Remarks

   The target operator must exist in the current context and/or at the specified scope.

Modified in Elzed 2.4.0 -- Operator name parameter (char*) is now declared const.
