One of Elzed's strongest features is its ability to integrate with code and data in host applications.

Integration with host application code is accomplished via external operators. Like the built-in, or internal operators, external operators are used to build up expressions. Unlike the internal operators, however, they can extend Elzed's capabilities in any direction that you can imagine.

Host data integration is supported via variable linking. An Elzed variable is associated with a host variable, after which they share the same space in memory. Any change to one, therefore, is automaticaly a change to the other.
